Our boys are in trouble. Anger, frustration, chaos and depression are expressed daily in young men who suffer from poor social rules. Our little boys have been told to stop acting like a girl. They hear phrases like “man up” when they cry. They are told “boys will be boys” when they misbehave. “Girl power” empowers women to be who they want and do what they want, but that feeling doesn’t often extend to boys. Just look at the excitement when boys try to ride a bike, paint their fingernails or play with a doll. But we can deal with this problem – and the power lies in the hands of the parents. Not only can children be raised who are not emotionally nurtured and pushed into stereotypical boxes; It is very important if we want a generation of men who can express their feelings, respect women, and help nursing society return to a healthy place. We can redefine masculinity. From Aaron Gouveia, who gained viral fame after tweeting his support for his son’s painted fingernails (and who knows the toxic woman all too well), learn practical and practical tips such as: Don’t accept different situations for mothers and fathers Teach sons the “girl” is not an insult and relaxed phrases like “boys will be boys” Show boys that showing their emotions and physicality is a good thing Let boys pursue unusual things and interests. I didn’t get much out of this book…mainly because I read a lot of older books. The information here is not new, but it is organized in a way that speaks directly to the toxic women – something that is appropriate in our country now (2022). Most of the ideas and principles are something I have already thought about. The truth is that if you are a thoughtful, caring, loving parent, you are probably already thinking about them. The information here is not new, but it is organized in a way that speaks directly to the toxic women – something that is appropriate in our country now (2022). Most of the ideas and principles are something I have already thought about. The truth is that if you are a thoughtful, caring, loving parent, you are probably already thinking about them. I feel like this is a book you give to a certain kind of person – a sexist, racist one with no concern for other people’s feelings. But then again those kinds of men probably don’t read books. So maybe this book is often found in echo chambers? Hmm. …more than
In Cowboy Country, A Single Mother Tries To Raise Her Boy To Be A Good Man
A well-written and thoughtful parenting guide (and not just for parents of boys). I have followed the author, Aaron, since I stumbled upon a post on his blog, “The Daddy Files,” when my son was a baby. My son is one day younger than the author’s oldest son, most of what Aaron wrote are things that my wife and I experienced with our son. I followed as Aaron’s family of three became a family of five. Although I never met his family, I cried with them when their baby died and was forced to march with anti-abortion protesters outside a hospital. I shared Aaron’s viral video of him confronting the protesters at the time because I think the world needs more men who are willing to stand up for their families. These things are mentioned in this book. This parenting guide provides everything you need to know about toxic women and how they affect everyone, boys and girls (and children). unknown), and ways to overcome the difficulty. Who better to mention these problems than a man who raised three sons, who is strong enough to admit that he was once part of the problem? That’s what Aaron does in this guide. He offers practical parenting advice, shares his mistakes, and offers good, solid advice to his sons about being good men in a world full of hate (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.). He speaks out on the gender norms that harm our children, such as little boys not being allowed to play with dolls or girls standing up for themselves. She wrote about talking to her children about sex and consent. He goes deep into politics and religion and how to break these issues into children. Although I am not an atheist like Aaron, I respect his opinion and the fact that he does not push his beliefs on his children. I love that she allows her children to hear about all different religions so that each of her children can form their own opinion. I share many of his thoughts on the problems with some organized religions that teach hate instead of love. I am blessed to be married to a man who also speaks out against hate and racism while raising our children. None of us are perfect, and Aaron’s book gives us food for thought as we navigate the years ahead with our son and daughter. The book is well written and thoughtful. I recommend it to all parents who want to raise thoughtful children in today’s world of uncertainty. …more than
This is a wonderful book that describes the toxic woman and addresses the problems with young men who are surrounded by not only femininity, but also being a good person.
Parents and sons (Or people who are sons! Or parents and daughters! Or people who don’t have children who hate toxic men!!), check out this book. This is a great book. It helps. It is honest. It is special. It goes wild without being blurry or confusing. It is a well-documented and enlightened portrait of the toxic woman, written in a simple, funny and no-nonsense way. As a mother of girls, I agree with this message.
Raising Boys: How To Raise Your Son To Be Real Man
I was skeptical going into this recommended read, but was pleasantly surprised. In her discussion of overcoming parenting practices filled with toxic feminism, the author mentions gender identity, sexuality and expression, abortion rights, the Me Too movement, and gun violence.
Political division. LGBT rights. Intimidation. Children of the school. Abortion. Gender pay balance. On the surface, maybe not everything
